- 4 oz unsalted butter (room temperature)
- 2/3 cup packed dark brown sugar
- 3 tbsp honey
- 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
- 1/4 tsp ground nutmeg
- 1/8 tsp ground cloves
- 1/8 tsp kosher salt
- 3/4 cup bourbon
- 2 cups boiling water
- Garnish: cinnamon sticks
- Using an electric mixer (or stand mixer with fitted paddle attachment), beat sugar, butter, honey, cinnamon, nutmeg, cloves, and salt in a medium-sized bowl until smooth and creamy. Add the whiskey and then the boiling water.
- Whisk until evenly combined, then divide into 4 mugs. Garnish with cinnamon sticks and serve!
