Ingredients

  • 4 pitted cherries
  • 1.5 oz Merlot wine
  • 1 oz bourbon
  • 2–3 tbsp fresh orange or clementine juice
  • 1–2 tsp maple syrup
  • ice
  • dash of cinnamon or nutmeg
  • lemon zest/peel

Directions

  1. Juice the orange. Muddle pitted cherries in tall glass. Keep the cherries once muddled.
  2. Add orange juice, maple syrup, Merlot, bourbon and mix. Stir with a handful of ice. Top with lemon peel and dash of nutmeg or cinnamon.
