- 4 pitted cherries
- 1.5 oz Merlot wine
- 1 oz bourbon
- 2–3 tbsp fresh orange or clementine juice
- 1–2 tsp maple syrup
- dash of cinnamon or nutmeg
- lemon zest/peel
- Juice the orange. Muddle pitted cherries in tall glass. Keep the cherries once muddled.
- Add orange juice, maple syrup, Merlot, bourbon and mix. Stir with a handful of ice. Top with lemon peel and dash of nutmeg or cinnamon.
